Overview

A hardy, colorful New World species and a great beginner — easily raised from slings. Calm and slow-moving but quick to kick urticating hairs when bothered. Cool room temps are fine; low-to-moderate humidity with a water dish. Slings burrow; older spiders may adopt a semi-arboreal retreat.
