**Ivory Ornamental** — The most distinctive *Poecilotheria* in terms of coloration — adults develop a beautiful ivory/cream-grey pattern that makes them one of the most visually unique ornamentals. Native to cooler highland montane forests of Sri Lanka and tolerates slightly lower temperatures than other *Poecilotheria* (72–80°F). **MEDICALLY SIGNIFICANT VENOM** — same cautions apply as all genus members. Slightly slower growing than other *Poecilotheria*. IUCN Critically Endangered. Captive breeding is important for the long-term availability of this species. Experts only.
