Overview

**Mysore Ornamental Tarantula** — A large, beautifully patterned Poecilotheria with bold striped banding on the legs and a vivid yellow-and-black underside flash pattern. One of the more commonly kept Poecilotheria in the hobby.

⚠️ MEDICALLY SIGNIFICANT VENOM: All Poecilotheria have venom capable of causing serious systemic reactions. Medical treatment has been required following bites. Experienced keepers only. ⚠️ CITES Appendix II — ensure legal captive-bred sourcing.

Care identical to other Poecilotheria: large vertical enclosure, cross-ventilated, warm and moderately humid. Cork bark flats and hollow hides essential. A fast, active species that will utilize all available space. Prolific feeder and grower. An excellent representative of the genus for keepers ready to step into Poecilotheria keeping.
