Overview

**Fringed Ornamental** — The largest *Poecilotheria* species, with a leg span that can exceed 8 inches. Stunning geometric patterning on the abdomen and yellow/black coloration on the underside. **MEDICALLY SIGNIFICANT VENOM** — bites have caused intense muscle cramping, prolonged pain, and in some cases required hospitalization. Extremely fast and defensive. IUCN listed as Critically Endangered in the wild. All *Poecilotheria* require experienced keepers with solid containment protocols. Requires tall vertical enclosure with cork bark slabs and good cross-ventilation. Never handle. Experts only.
