Overview

**Bengal Ornamental Tarantula** — A mid-sized Poecilotheria from the eastern Indian subcontinent. Slightly cooler temperature preference (72-82°F) than other Poecilotheria, reflecting its range in Bengal which has more moderate temperatures.

⚠️ MEDICALLY SIGNIFICANT VENOM: All Poecilotheria carry medically significant venom. Serious bite effects have been documented. For experienced keepers only. ⚠️ CITES Appendix II — legal captive-bred sourcing required.

Care mirrors other Poecilotheria. P. miranda is one of the less commonly kept species in the genus but is increasingly available through captive breeding. A solid mid-sized representative of the group for collectors building a complete Poecilotheria collection.
