Overview

**Colombian Giant Redleg** — A large, impressive species with vivid orange-red coloration on the leg joints. Can be extremely defensive and fast-moving — this species will spin rapidly to kick urticating hairs very effectively. Higher humidity requirements than most New World terrestrials. Requires a large enclosure with deep substrate. Advanced keepers only due to speed and defensive nature. Stunning display specimen when visible, though tends to be a fossorial species that spends significant time in its burrow.
