A tiny, secretive rainforest scorpion famous for being parthenogenetic — females clone themselves, so a single animal can found a colony without a mate. Hides under bark and driftwood in moist substrate; give plenty of flat hides, warm humid conditions, and a small water dish. Its venom is insect-specific and harmless to people, and it prefers its pincers to its tail — an easy, communal-friendly beginner dwarf. Now placed in family Hormuridae.
