Overview

A hardy Old World fossorial from the Himalayan foothills — unusual in preferring cooler, room-ish temps. No urticating hairs; skittish rather than overtly defensive, but has significant venom, so experienced keepers only. An active webber/burrower that's often visible. Deep, slightly-damp peat/coco substrate; good feeding response.
