Overview

**Brazilian Dwarf Blue Tarantula** — A fast-growing dwarf species from the Diamantina highlands of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Adults display a subtle iridescent blue sheen on the carapace and legs, particularly visible under direct light.

D. diamantinensis is one of the faster-growing dwarf species in the hobby, reaching maturity relatively quickly compared to other Dolichothele or Cyriocosmus. Tends to be a confident feeder and creates dense, funnel-shaped web retreats.

Keep slightly drier than tropical dwarfs, reflecting its highland origin. A great introductory dwarf species for keepers stepping into the miniature T world. Rarely defensive. Slings are very small — use appropriately scaled prey.
