Overview

**Thai Black Tarantula** — A uniform jet-black fossorial Chilobrachys from the coastal forests around Hua Hin in Thailand. Sleek black appearance with the typical genus speed and attitude.

⚠️ OLD WORLD SPECIES: No urticating hairs; fast and defensive; Old World venom. For experienced keepers only.

Care mirrors other Chilobrachys: moist compactable substrate, warm tropical temperatures, high humidity. A fast and voracious feeder. Creates elaborate burrow systems lined with silk. Less visually distinctive than C. fimbriatus or the Electric Blue sp. but an excellent keeper with typical Chilobrachys reliability.
