Long-Horned Baboon

Ceratogyrus attonitifer

CeratogyrusTheraphosidae

advanced

Overview

The famous long-horned baboon — it carries the tallest foveal horn of any Ceratogyrus. Primarily terrestrial-to-fossorial; floor space matters more than height, with deep semi-dry substrate for burrowing and good ventilation. Fast and defensive with potent venom and no urticating hairs — its bite is its defense. Advanced keepers only, no handling.
