Overview

The Mexican Red Knee is an iconic species with beautiful red and orange markings on the legs. This is one of the most recognized tarantulas in the world and has been a hobby staple for decades.

Very docile and easy to care for, making it perfect for beginners. Slow growing but worth the wait for their stunning appearance. Great display species that tends to stay visible. Note that this species is threatened in the wild, so most specimens in the hobby are captive bred.

Provide standard terrestrial setup with hiding spot and water dish. Tolerates room temperature well.
