Overview

The Mexican Red Leg is a stunning New World terrestrial with distinctive red-orange leg segments. Very similar in temperament to the Mexican Red Knee, making it an excellent beginner species.

This species is docile, slow-moving, and rarely defensive. They occasionally kick urticating hairs when disturbed but are generally tolerant. The Mexican Red Leg is a slow grower but very hardy.

Keep in warm, moderately dry conditions with a water dish. Provide a hide and some floor space for wandering.
