Overview

The Mexican Flame Knee is a beautiful Brachypelma species with vibrant orange and red coloration on the legs. It shares the docile temperament typical of the genus.

This species is very similar in care and temperament to other Brachypelma species. They are slow growers, calm, and rarely defensive. The Flame Knee occasionally kicks urticating hairs but is generally tolerant of disturbance.

Provide warm, dry conditions with a water dish. They appreciate a hide and some floor space but don't require elaborate setups.
