Peruvian Pink Toe

Avicularia juruensis

AviculariaTheraphosidae

intermediate

Overview

**Peruvian Pink Toe** — A mid-sized Avicularia from the western Amazon basin. Grey-black body with contrasting pink toe pads. Taxonomy within the Avicularia genus has been revised extensively in recent years — verify current classification if sourcing.

Care mirrors other Avicularia: cross-ventilated enclosure, light misting, moist substrate base, vertical space with cork or plants. Good feeder and active species. Typically more visible than many tarantulas due to arboreal habits — often rests exposed on cork bark or inside its tube web anchor.

Docile and calm. An excellent addition to any arboreal collection, particularly for keepers wanting Avicularia representation from different geographic regions.
