Overview

The Desert Blonde is a hardy desert species native to the American Southwest. This tarantula tolerates dry conditions exceptionally well and is very low maintenance.

Very docile and rarely flicks hairs, making it one of the calmest species available. Slow growing but extremely hardy. Perfect for beginners who want a North American species.

Prefers drier conditions than most species. Provide water dish but keep substrate mostly dry. Can tolerate temperature fluctuations well.
